An announcement was made this morning on television by the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces, stating that the military was now in control of the country.

This could get pretty bad real fast. More on this later.

It is reported by the Times that Mubarak is now in a resort home in the region of Sharm el-Sheik.
