Day 3 London Games

Day 3 of Swimming will see 17 teen year old Missy Franklin and Allison Schmitt compete in 200m freestyle. Michael Phelps still looking for his first gold medal competes in the 200m butterfly looking for his third straight gold medal in that race.

Women’s teams compete in water polo, basketball, and volleyball.

Tennis: Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, sister Venus Williams and John Isner are all in action today at the all England Club. Serena and John are in 2nd round action where as Andy and Venus got rained out earlier in the games and will play their 1st round matches this morning.

Men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams are back in action. Jake Gibb/Sean Rosenthal will play at 4 p.m. and golden girls Misty May-Treanor/Keri Walsh Jennings will compete at 6 p.m. Those matches can be seen on the family of NBC networks.

Boxing: Team USA looks to stay perfect in the ring today. After the first two days the men are 4-0 so far but there is still lots of fighting left to do in the ring. Marcus Browne competes in the light heavyweight division and Rau’Shee Warren gets a buy, into the round of 16. All boxing events can be seen on CNBC.
