Michael Vick: 80% Healthy, Won’t Change the Way He Plays
Eagles fans must be concerned! Vick, who promised Eagles fans during the off- season that he would do his best to avoid injury during the preseason which would prevent him from starting for the duration of the season, has already been hurt…not once, but twice! Now, 3 days after being knocked out of the Eagles’ second preseason game Vs. The New England Patriots, quarterback Michael Vick says his bruised ribs are feeling 80% better and that he is trying to do all he can do to make it to September 9th, the season opener! Vick was injured in a passing play just 6 plays into the game. Regardless of the fact that Vick is completely unable to stay healthy without injury, he can’t play for the scenario and/or tell himself he will not try to extend a play before it begins. Vick stated that he must continue to play for the moment and not go into every play anticipating what will happen. Basically, Michael Vick won’t change the way he plays the game! Vick hopes to return for the season opener at Cleveland, whom they also play tonight. Nick Foles will be taking Vick’s place in the preseason game tonight!
